November 11 12:18H
Well, I just finished reading some of Sam's and Shroomy's Blogs and thought it was an interesting concept. So here goes.............
Today, I recovered from yesterday. We had approx 40 people here with over a dozen small children (so this changes the amount of people to about 100). We celebrated my daugher's first birthday and my oldest son's birthday. Yes, they were born on the exact day, 10 years apart. My son spent most of his time, counting his money and running around showing it to the adults. I was a bit embarassed but he is a kid afterall and was very excited to spend this money on more video games. Thats one good thing he got cash, I guess (but not sure), since I swore off buying one more of these infernal things. My daughter who turned 1 on the other hand did not know what was going on, she ripped a bit at her gifts, loved eating the paper more than the contents. She was a bit disturbed by so many people in the house, not her usual very happy baby self.
I had my usual wonderful time, busy from 9 AM until midnight, cleaning, baking, cooking, serving, feeding, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. :) It's all worth it to have all of the family and friends together. This is one of the reasons I love Christmas so much ~ I love getting together with all the family! My second favourite thing about Christmas is the Christmas tree :) Something about that, I am not sure to explain it. I can't stop looking at them. (Maybe some supressed emotions or memories hehe).
My husband took many photos at the party which I am excited about seeing. We will be eating leftovers for a few days :P
But this day, I woke up with a pounding headache, question mark shaped spine, and just enjoyed sitting around with the kids. Tommorow is another day for another project, wallpapering.
